3.        to understand effects of different valuation methods upon company's / project’s reported performances;

4.       to apply industrial engineering principles to  management of engineering projects.

·         depreciation

·         npv calculations

·         equipment acquisition

·         capital structure / gearing / leverage

Project planning / scheduling:

·         risk / decision tree

·         Gantt chart

·         network diagrams / critical path

·         PERT chart

Financial Management in Project Engineering :

·         cost estimates

·         budgeting

·         cash flow analysis

Case Studies

·         guest speakers presenting the industrial approach in various aspects of  project engineering
